We open Friday, August 22, 2008 at 3:00 pm.  At 3:30 pm we have a blind tractor race. Lots of fun to be in and lots of fun to watch.

Supper is from 5-7 pm.

Coronation of King & Queen at 6:45 pm.

Congrats to David & Shirley Rokes for the 2007 King & Queen.

Gospel Show from 7:00 to 9:00 pm This featuring a new group from Verndale, "IN His Time"  This group is great.  I know each member personally.

Saturday, Kitchen open at 7:30 am. Featuring  Phyllis's Famous Pancakes or French toast, sausage, hashbrowns, and eggs.

 

Antique Tractor Pull starts at 11:00.  (Notice time change.) Will break for the Parade at 1:00 pm then back to the tractor pull.

Threshing and Sawmill demonstrations held during the day.

Petting barn,    

Kiddie Coin Hunt held in afternoon.

 Supper at 5-7 pm. Kitchen closes at 7:00 pm

This is some of the happenings from last year, some things stay the same, but we try to add new things each year.

 

Lots of great food available during show days.  Hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ turkey sandwiches, salads, rootbeer floats, ice cream cones, pop, pop corn and Indian fry bread.

Many things to see

 Model Farm Display, Museum with many old items, Wool Carding and spinning, goat shearing, large display of gas engines. Playground, free barrel train rides for kids and a people mover for anyone.

In the exhibit building we are featuring "Grandma's Kitchen."

  AND don't forget our Country Store is open.
